Who is free is free indeed

Christ is the real, promised "son" of Abraham Galatians So, the "real" children of Abraham are those who obey God, by accepting Christ Galatians This is the subtext behind the rest of Jesus' dialogue with the crowd. Used by permission of Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.

Carol Stream, Illinois This is a ontime message. Thank you Michael. I needed to read this. I'm enlightened! I'm born of God. I have no sin in me because I'm born of God. God is Spirit, I'm born of Him and therefore I am spirit. This is so liberating. Tuesday, May 21, He who the Son sets free is free indeed. I've heard this a million times, "He who the son sets free is free indeed. This comes from what Jesus said in John , "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.

The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. Oh but there is something incredibly deep here. He says if you commit sin you are a slave of sin. Do you commit sin? How is that possible if Jesus says when you are set free you are free indeed? If your freedom depends on you not committing sin how free can you really be? John recorded the words of Jesus above. That spirit cannot commit sin.

Twice Paul says, "It is no longer I who sin but sin living in my flesh that sins" Romans , Sins still come through our bodies but we, in our true spiritual identity, are not the source. Does your flesh commit sin? Are you your flesh? Does your spirit commit sin? Are you your spirit? Is your flesh responsible to prevent your flesh from committing sin? That just makes things worse.
